What if the wilderness is the way?

I’ve been building for 3 years.

And if I’m being honest, I still haven’t figured it out.

No big exits.

No thousand-dollar days.

No overnight success story I can wrap a bow on.

Just me. Still here. Still showing up.

Trying things.

Failing at some.

Starting small projects that feel right in my gut… and seeing if they help someone else.

That’s the strategy right now:
Keep moving. Keep testing. Don’t tap out.

Earlier this Sunday morning, I was listening to a preaching.

The pastor said something that stopped me cold:

“The wilderness doesn’t make you weak.
It reveals what was already there.”

That hit.

Because I’ve been asking questions like:
“Why is this taking so long?”
“Am I even cut out for this?”
“Where’s the breakthrough?”

And maybe the answer is simple:
This season isn’t punishment.

It’s preparation.

Looking back…

The things I’m most proud of weren’t built during comfort.

They came from long, quiet seasons where I was just… still there.

Doing the work. Showing up. Even when it felt like no one was watching.

Maybe you’re there now.

You want to grow. Build something real.

Step into a bigger version of yourself.

But it’s hard.

Nothing’s clicking yet.

And the doubt’s starting to whisper louder than your drive.

If that’s you, hear me:

This wilderness you’re in?
It’s not the thing standing between you and your breakthrough.
It is the breakthrough.

This is the part that shapes you.

This is the season that builds your character.

This is where your future self gets forged.

Not by arriving.

But by not quitting.

So keep going.
Try the risky thing.
Start the small bet.
Push the scary button.

If you’re in the wilderness right now...

Don’t tap out.
Keep walking.

The path isn’t blocked.
It’s just hard.

But so are you.

To your growth,
Vikko
