He called me “The Nicolas Cole of Threads” 😳
Last week I hopped on a call with Brock.
We’d been chatting casually on IG.
Light DMs, nothing serious.
But eventually it turned into a proper conversation.
I wanted to run a framework by him…
Something I’d been working on.
Something I wasn’t totally sure about.
You see, Brock’s not just some random dude.
He’s an experienced ghostwriter with decades of writing online under his belt.
He’s worked with a ton of clients.
Understands the game.
And I genuinely see him as a mentor.
So yeah… when someone like that takes time to talk to you?
You listen.
But then, right in the middle of our chat, he says:
“You’re like the Nicolas Cole of Threads.”
And I was like… wait, what?
I didn’t even know how to respond.
Because I don’t feel like that.
I’m not trying to be “someone.”
I’m just trying to show up, share what I know, and help people who are a few steps behind.
But hearing that from someone I deeply respect?
It hit different.
Made me pause.
Made me realize how easy it is to overlook the impact you’re already having.
So if you’re reading this right now, building in public, sharing your ideas, wondering if any of it even matters?
It does.
You never know who’s watching.
You never know who you’re already helping.
And sometimes…
It takes someone else to reflect that back to you.
