The Chocolate Duel
I’ve been eating dark chocolate (70%+ cacao) for over a week now.
No more milk chocolate.
That means if I see a cake or cookie made with milk chocolate….
It’s a pass.
But if it’s made with dark chocolate? I’m in. (I know, it’s not perfect)
Same treat moment. Different outcome. (in a way)
This is how I’m lowering my blood sugar right now.
Not by cutting out everything.
Not by pretending I don’t like sweets.
Just by making a smarter swap I can actually follow through on.
Eventually, I’ll dial things down even more.
But this is my start.
And it’s already working.
Because here’s the truth:
Most solopreneurs think growth has to hurt.
That it only counts if it feels like punishment.
So they go full monk mode.
Quit everything.
Cut all the “bad habits.”
Try to change everything overnight.
Then they crash.
Burn out.
Or quietly shame themselves for not sticking to it.
Not because they’re weak…
But because they never gave themselves a realistic on-ramp.
You don’t need to burn your business down to make it better.
You don’t need to go monk mode to grow.
Sometimes…
You just need to switch the milk chocolate for the dark.
