Could You Break Free After 10 Years of Hesitation? He Did
If you’ve been stuck on the sidelines, this is the story you need to read today.
Dear Reader,
Yesterday, I received an email from someone named Mike (not his real name).
He shared that he’d spent 10 years staying on the sideline, wishing about making money online but never started.
Until yesterday.
Mike finally created a Threads account and took his first step.
His story isn’t unique—and that’s exactly why it’s so powerful.
When I read his email, it felt like looking in the mirror.
Because I’ve been Mike. And maybe you have, too.
For years, I devoured every blog, book, and course I could find.
I told myself:
“Not yet. I’m not ready. I need to learn more. I need more time.”
But the truth? I was scared.
Afraid of looking stupid. Afraid of failing before I’d even begun.
What I’ve learned—and what Mike’s email reminded me—is that starting isn’t just the hardest part.
It’s the part that separates dreamers from doers.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect plan.
You just need to take the first step.
3 Steps to Start Today
If you’ve been stuck on the sidelines, here’s how to stop waiting and start creating:
1. Call Out Your Excuses
Write down every excuse you’ve been telling yourself. Be brutally honest.
Waiting for more time?
Needing the "perfect" plan?
Afraid people will judge you?
Here’s the hard truth: Most excuses are just fear in disguise. Name them, and they lose their power.
2. Start Ugly
Forget perfection. Forget being ready. These are traps.
Take one tiny, messy action today:
Write your first post (yes, the rough, awkward one).
Share an idea you’ve been sitting on for weeks.
Leave a thoughtful comment and start building connections.
Your first post won’t go viral, but it will do something more important: it will move you forward.
3. Build 7 Days of Momentum
Block 15–30 minutes a day for the next 7 days.
No big leaps. Just small, consistent steps: write, post, connect.
This isn’t about overnight success—it’s about showing up enough times to finally feel like you belong.
By the end of 7 days, you won’t just have results.
You’ll have belief.
Seventeen months ago, I started posting on Threads with zero experience, zero niche, and zero confidence.
Today, I’ve built an audience of 3,400+ and learned lessons I couldn’t have found in any course or blog.
But none of it would’ve happened if I hadn’t made the decision.
Mike’s email reminded me why I started—and why it’s never too late to begin.
If you’ve been waiting to start, let this be your sign.
Write one post. Take one step.
Because your dream doesn’t begin until you do.
To your progress,
Vikko
