9 Simple Habits That Can Make An Immediate Difference

Big things start from small beginnings.

Big things start from small beginnings.

And the combination of little things.

When we look at someone, we often look at a previous huge event that this person has done.

See basketball players. See actors or singers. Even writers.

We forget that they had to grind it out to achieve the level they’re in.

They fight through demotivation. They avoid distractions. They act even if they’re not feeling it.

And they do it day in and day out.

I also have grown my Threads following to 2,000+ followers. But I’m not doing anything extraordinary.

I’m just learning, engaging and posting on a regular basis. It’s such a beautiful cycle.

Discipline > "Feeling like it"

So if you want to achieve something HUGE…

Stop underestimating the time and effort it takes to achieve big things.

It’s not about one action.

It’s about a combination of actions over a period of time.

Stack up good habits to increase your chances of success. You can’t go wrong with it.

Now, the question is:

What habits can I establish to make that ultimate goal a reality?

  1. Read.
Reading is like a legit cheat code. It allows you to level up fast.

You gain knowledge that might take ages to learn through trial and error.

BUT the knowledge gained is only good if you do #2:

  2. Act on what you read.
Reading exposes you to powerful ideas, but taking action turns those ideas into real-world results.

Remember, over-reading is just a form of procrastination.

  3. Reflect on the previous week.
    Take a strategic pause.

Find time to evaluate and learn from your mistakes from the past week.

Learn how to avoid repeating these setbacks.

  4. Plan for the upcoming week .
    People love predictability.

A weekly plan creates certainty in an uncertain world.

This mental comfort allows you to relax, focus, and perform at your best.

  5. Use a calendar.
Not using a calendar yet? You’re missing out!

    It’s like having superpowers.

It gives you 3 distinct superpowers:
    - “The Gift of Foresight“,
    - “The Strength of Focus“, and
    - “The Memory of an Elephant

    Neat, right?

  6. Eat well.
    Health and productivity are inter-connected.

If you feel shitty (excuse me), then a lot of it comes from what you eat.

When you eat healthy, you’re investing for your future.

When you eat junk, you’re cashing out.

So don’t cash out until you reach your true potential.

  7. Exercise.
The most successful people I know exercise regularly.

And it doesn’t have to be 100% intense all the time.

Walk 30 mins daily. Body-weight exercises. Even at home.

    Make time. You got this.

  8. Take care of your sleep
One of the best things I’ve done for myself is to get enough quality sleep.

    Yes, sleep.

When you sleep well, you’re at performance level.

So later, try to get enough. Go to bed early. Turn off your alarm.

  9. Learn to step back.
You cannot be in “go go go“ mode all the time.

    Digest the lessons.

    Assess your direction.

Choose the best course of action.
